Hand Scraped Hardwood Flooring
Next Frontier features beautiful hand-scraped hardwood. Hand scraping adds texture and depth to the wood grain you can see and feel. It also adds a quintessential rustic flavor to your flooring. But, fabulous looks aside, the rough finish helps conceal dust, dirt, and pet hair. So, you’ll enjoy less daily maintenance. And hand-scraped hardwood can take a beating from high traffic and still look great.

Enjoy Durable and Distinct Hickory Flooring
It’s tough to beat hickory flooring for durability — it’s one of the most durable wood flooring choices available, outpacing even solid oak flooring. In addition, hickory is one of the more water-resistant hardwood options. Plus, if you’re looking for a genuinely distinct flooring choice, hickory sits at the top for domestic hardwoods with its unique spiral and splotches. No two wood planks look the same.

Installation
Where Can I Install This Floor?
Installation Methods
Flooring is glued together and floats on top of the subfloor. An underlayment pad is rolled out over the subfloor to protect against moisture and improve sound transmission. If the flooring has a pad attached, an underlayment is not required.
Adhesive is spread onto the subfloor using a trowel. Flooring is then placed into the adhesive.
Hardwood flooring is mechanically fastened to the wood subfloor using staples, cleats or nails. This is the most popular and economical installation method.
Can I Do This Myself?
Planning ahead is essential for a successful hardwood installation. Follow these tips before, during and after installation to help you make the right decisions.
